So, Dan told me about the difficulties he experienced earlier when he wanted to leave a message on my blog. Then, I realised that pixnet is not yet that friendly to readers who do not read Chinese. Of course, Dan still managed his way to leave his very first message on my blog. (Well, thanks, Dan!) But I think it would be good if I also make a suggestion to the site manager. I did. Later Bruce told me that it sounds easy to add an English interface but it is actually a lot of work. Therefore, I think it would be nice to at least add some demonstration here to explain a bit how to leave a message on pixnet. And here is the demonstration.

I guess the picture pretty much explains everything.

1. At the front page of the blog, you can see a link “…(XXXX)” after the 3^rd paragraph of each post. That is where you can click to continue reading the post.
2. After you finish reading, you have two choices to leave a message:
   1. Trackback: If you have a lot to say, that you want to compose a separate article on your own blog, you can use the trackback URL for reference. So that I will know (so will other readers) that you have posted something about this post somewhere. We can trace the link to read your composition. (I tick the URL for you in the picture.)
   2. Message: If you just want to express some of your thoughts in a short message, you can then click the link “(XXXX).”
3. If you choose b., you will see a new window. There, you can fill in the subject and your nick. You may also decide whether you want to make your message a private one that only I will read it, or a public one for everyone to read. Then you can choose to leave your e-mail address, and the URL. And most important of all, the words you want to say!
4. After you finish expressing yourself, don’t forget to click ‘Send’.

Then, I will soon read it. And usually I will response to it in a short time, unless there isn’t much to say. But I will do my best. And, don’t forget to come back to read it, too!
