Many friends have asked me why I didn't write anything about Wimbledon this year. It was not because I was concentrating on watching World Cup football. I had still kept an eye on Wimbledon when the matches were going on.

Roddick didn't play as well as he did last year. I watched the game he played with Murray from the beginning to the end with Bruce chatting with me on the net. Roddick was fit for the game, but the way he played was a bit worrying. The strategy was simply not interesting enough to attract and trap Murray. Thus, Murray won the match.

And as we have expected, after Wimbledon finished, Andy Roddick's ATP ranking dropped from 5 to 11. Goodness, out of Top 10!! I don't think that Andy Roddick is officially history on tennis court. I would rather consider that he is not playing his best, and he needs to find back his strategy and mojo to win a match, especially when it comes to a big game.

Am I a fan of Andy Roddick? I think I am. Well, not as enthusiastic as other loyal fans, but I do want to see him win matches, win titles. He's got a good EQ at all time. Although he expressed some stupid words on his blog (for example, those about guys walking around with man purse in London), I still think he's kind of cute to dare to express his thoughts regarding something more than just tennis. However, we all can see that actually a wall is there in front of him. He needs to pass it, climb it, and get over it.

This might be his downfall at the moment, besides, he was also injured not long ago. But I think he can and will do better, much better, when he finds his way back. And that would be the most interesting and exciting thing to see on a tennis court.

Thus, this is for you, Andy, and good luck! You will still have my support.
